The short answer, Yes!
Does Darwin’s theory of evolution still hold water?
After the discovery of DNA, the conclusion is, not a 10 million to 1 chance. The chance that a cell structure would have come together to form a thinking, talking, and reasoning being is near unfathomable. And that’s just on the cellular side of things.
Now down to the root of the matter, pun intended.
Whether or not it was a star that exploded and all those “chunks” became millions of galaxies, and somehow over the years turned into smooth round planets and other stars creating their own solar systems, That’s almost as possible as the cell structure above.

God, created them in one day...
The problem is both leave you asking the same question: where did the gases, matter, and space come from?
The answer that being floated around now is that they were created by a being that is timeless, space-less, and matter-less, for the obvious reasons.
Today many scientist call the entity the Unmoved Mover.
For those people that have believed in God all this time........Umm...Duh
Everything around you was created by someone or something. Every building, bicycle, bird, plane, and (yes) humans have a creator. So, how can we not come to the conclusion that the earth under our feet and the stars in the sky wasn’t intelligently created as well?
I think that intelligent design is the most plausible outcome and you have to stretch halfway across the solar system to make any other idea fit nice and neat in a box with a bow!
In conclusion, Christians and other believers in God and the bible had to have “faith” that the creation story was true because the bible told you so!
There are still many mysteries of God, and I for one, am excited to watch them unfold. At the same time, every time science advances and archaeologist make a discovery, it only further proves the bible true.
