How a watered down gospel is killing our churches

Will Love get you into Heaven?
There is an awful lot of pastors preaching a “Prosperity Gospel” aka: Loving God Gospel
This watered down gospel is NOT the Word of God, and is allowing sin to live in the church and in its people! When the secular world hears “Christians” saying to Love Jesus, and God will make you a “Christian”, they take that as truth. This is a false gospel, and brings people to a false sense of “salvational” security. Yes, I made that word up!!
God is Love, so everything God says is sin, cannot be love. If you are living is sin, without turning from that sin and repenting of it, you are in a false relationship. Nowhere in the bible does it say that if you love someone, or love Jesus, or love God, that you are going to Heaven. Matter of fact, it says you must turn your life over to Jesus, Repent of your sin, and Live a new life.
Mark 6:12 “And they went out, and preached that men should repent.”
Luke 13:3 “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish”
Matthew 4:17 “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”
Luke 5:32 “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Luke 24:47 “and the repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations”
Repentance is a change of mind!
Acts 3:19 “Repent therefor and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out”
2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
The proliferation of homosexuality did not truly explode until pastor’s stop preaching God’s Word in full and without fear. More on that in a podcast dedicated to the subject.
Judgment:
Many Christians will very quickly say “we are not here to judge, but to be judged!” and as Matthew 1:1 reflects that likeness, It is not the whole story. We must teach the Word of God to all the world. Teaching the truth, even if it hurts, is teaching, not judging or hateful.
The Truth does Hurt:
Luke 18:22-24 “Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasures in heaven: and come, follow me. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful:for he was very rich.”
Moral of the story, The truth can hurt, but in order to follow Jesus, this is what the rich man was called to do.
What do you have to do?
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is Death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”
You cannot create true love, without God’s intercession. Which is why divorce is rampid.
You cannot legislate a marriage, it is God’s institution and bound through Him, all else is a piece of paper!
You cannot create a baby, without God using one man and one woman. All others are made up fantasies, and will never replenish the earth or sustain moral stability.
